Big Trophy Rainbow are throughout the upper Kenai. These fish can get up to 30 inches or more and fight like you no other fish in the river.
Amazing Salmon Fishing
The Kenai has 5 different species of Salmon that run up its water and into the tributaries. Depending on the time of year we can catch Sockeye Salmon or Silver Salmon.

I believe the most important part of a trip to Alaska’s Kenai River is to have an enjoyable day on the water. Your trip on the Kenai will become a memory for a lifetime and I want that memory to be a great one. Fishing with me is a low pressure, family friendly environment with the focus on having a good time and catching fish. I enjoy fishing with both the beginner and the experienced angler. I also enjoy introducing people to new fishing techniques and ensuring an enjoyable learning experience.

Full Day Fishing
- A typical full day of fishing will be 8 hours in duration. We will begin our day at the bridge at the headwaters of the Kenai River or the Russian River Ferry and end at Jim’s Landing. Start location will depend on how the river has been fishing.
Half Day Fishing
- Our half-day trips will also begin at either the bridge or the Russian River Ferry, and finish at the Russian River Ferry or Jim’s Landing. The fishing over the last few days will dictate what area we fish.
